Adaptive AI, Inc.

Adaptive A.I. Inc was formed in December 2001 with the express goal of developing and commercializing an effective - and probably the first - general intelligence software engine. For the latest information on our progress see News.
Our AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) engine is based on a specific theoretical model of high-level intelligence developed over the past decade. For more information see Research.

Our immediate goal is the creation of a fully functional, proof-of-concept prototype of all the foundational elements of General Intelligence with a target date of early 2003 for Phase-1. For more information See Project.

My main occupation is research in high-level, general (domain independent,
autonomous) Artificial Intelligence – “Adaptive A.I. Inc.”

I believe that integrating insights from the following areas of cognitive
science are crucial for rapid progress in this field:

· Philosophy/ epistemology - understanding the true nature of knowledge

· Cognitive psychology (incl. developmental & psychometric) for analysis of cognition - and especially - general conceptual intelligence.

· Computer science - self-modifying systems, combining new connectionist pattern manipulation techniques with 'traditional' AI engineering.
